Applied pharmacokinetics and precision dosing research
RAPID provides expertise in pharmacokinetics, pharmacometrics, and clinical pharmacology to support clinically relevant and translational research.
We work closely with clinicians, researchers, and postgraduate students to design studies, analyse data, and generate evidence that informs real-world dosing decisions.
Designing pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies, including sampling strategies, study protocols, and statistical considerations.
Characterising drug exposure in specific populations such as critically ill patients, oncology, paediatrics, renal failure, and multi-ethnic cohorts.
Population PK/PKPD modelling, covariate analysis, simulations, and target attainment to support dose optimisation.
Integration of drug concentrations from validated HPLC, LC-MS/MS, and coagulation assays with clinical outcomes and models.
Development of bespoke software tools for PK analysis and dose individualisation, as well as small-scale applications for teaching and learning.
